The in house company training introduces the participant to the key applications of facilities management. The programme aims to assist the learner to develop an understanding of core FM applications in order to facilitate the application of FM tasks. This 2 day programme sets out to enhance the learner's ability and skill set to address and resolve minor FM issues.

This programme provides an overview of the application of FM roles within an organisation. The programme has been designed for people who hold an element of responsibility for management of the facility within their role. Typically this could be a Front Office manager, Building maintenance manager or a HR Manager.

The main aims of this program are:

• Understand and enforce the key applications of the facilities management role

• Enable the learner to address and resolve minor FM issues

• Organise and deliver the FM services required in your organisation

• Communicate and maintain relationships with core stakeholders

The learning outcomes are:

• Understand the management of contracts so services are delivered to specification

• Enable the learner to be able to support the organisations health and safety processes and policies

• Recognise a need for maintenance requirement

• Understanding the importance of risk management

• Understand the role of budgets within the FM department

• Identify the FM requirements of the internal customer
